I've been using my instant pot for nearly a year with great results. The only downside is its size. But do cook for longer than indicated for a 15psi pot (about 1.5x longer) or you will see your contam levels rise. Also remember to turn Keep warm off when cooking grain or it will go mushy if left overnight.

Hey! If I want to use ultrasonic cleaner for mushroom extraction, should I run the cleaner with alcohol or water ? And if I want double extraction. Can I dilute alcohol with water, to keep alcohol about 30% vol and use ultrasonic cleaner?

When using tinctures for baked goods, what would be the equivalent amount of tincture to use in place of mushroom powder? (I don’t have the $ to buy the potency testing tools, so hoping there is a rule of thumb)

The tinctures that you're making are extrely weak. You're mushroom : liquid ratio is terrible. You need alot more. In order to make around the same amount I use almost 10x thr amount of mushrooms

Nice apparatus, but the delicate compounds have to unecessary stay at high temperature during 5 hours. I guess cold extraction with constant agitation/vibration might get some extra sensitive molecules.

While this will work and it's definitely a great method illustrated in the video very simply and understandably, placing towels over the mat is a big fire hazard if you've got the mat on 24/7 or unattended. I instead use a tall-ish cooling rack (the kind you put hot baked cakes and cookies on) to be able to elevate any grain jars or bags etc above the mat about 4 or 5 inches.

Is this good for tincture extraction as well? I’ve been looking for another option besides alcohol.

Why would you even suggest doing a transfer from that TAT disc Contaminated with black mold that is wild. Everything you said was pretty relevant until I heard that then that’s all I could think of for the rest of the video that is a terrible idea. Not only are you running the risk of letting that contamination spread like wildfire into your work area and other grows but that stuff is really horrible for you and can even kill you. There’s some things that you can save and there’s other things that you just discard and that’s one of them.

Just a word of advice! You shouldn't do the alchohol extraction first. Beta-glucans are insoluble in alchohol so the left over residue in the mushrooms will contaminate the water extraction and could cause many of the beta glucans to solidify and be filtered out. Beta-glucans are the primary active compounds in many medicinal mushrooms so preserving them during every step of the process is important.

My friend told me about lemon tek and I always make sure if I'm taking a larger dose (for me) I have a handler. So I asked my daughter and she agreed. I took 3g and in 20 mins or so I was crying at the mind blowing fact that I helped create her and she was crying cuz of how heartfelt my feelings were. It was the greatest experience I've ever had on psychedelics. And tonight I only have limes so I'm grateful for this video 😅
